Efficient Annual General Meeting services

A well-planned and executed Annual General Meeting (AGM) is not merely a formal obligation but also a valuable opportunity to strengthen the company's relationship to its shareholders. It also serves as a platform to demonstrate the company’s commitment to regulatory compliance, which can further enhance the trust among its shareholders. The preparation and execution of AGMs are heavily governed by mandatory laws and regulations, where mistakes, particularly in a public and listed environment, can be hard to rectify after the event.

MAQS consistently supports public companies in listed environments with their general meetings. MAQS caters to a diverse range of companies, from smaller developing companies listed on multilateral trading facilities (MTFs) to larger corporations with extensive operations listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Main Market. Our services extend beyond mere formalities; we bring extensive experience in structuring the AGM process and chairing general meetings. This comprehensive approach in combination with our ability to clarify the rather complex regulatory framework has proven to be highly appreciated by both companies and their shareholders over the years. Our ability to adapt our services to meet each client's unique needs and preferences is our paramount strength in tailoring our services.

AGM services – from preparation to registration

Within the scope of our AGM services, we provide comprehensive assistance in drafting all necessary documentation related to the preparation, execution, and post-work of the AGM. This includes, for example, the drafting of notice documents, complete proposals for resolutions, meeting minutes, and, if needed, a script for the chairman. We also offer support with the practical handling of notices in the Official Swedish Gazette and the company’s designated daily newspaper. To ensure that all resolutions passed at the AGM are swiftly registered, we provide assistance throughout the entire registration process where we – often with the help of our local office in Sundsvall – ensure that the documents are promptly submitted to the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket).
