Christina Rydell Ahlström heads MAQS’ environmental law group and focuses mainly on environmental and special real estate law, including issues related to planning and construction. She has a proven interest and significant knowledge in the area of environmental law. Christina regularly assists clients in the real estate sector and industry.

Christina’s main activity is related to licensing issues for environmentally hazardous activities and water operations, liability for contamination, environmental damages, exploitation and other wider environmental concerns. In addition, she has acquired a special expertise within the food industry, and she assists companies in applying for permits under the relevant environmental legislation and other legislation relating to the food sector.

Christina is also part of the firm’s ‘Clean Tech’ department, which monitors the development of the legal framework for companies that have invested in and work with clean technology. Christina is experienced in advising clients in relation to hydropower and wind power.
