All Things Live acquires Big Slap Festival

MAQS Advokatbyrå represented the seller in connection with All Things Live’s acquisition of Big Slap Festival.

The leading independent live entertainment company in the Nordics – All Things Live – strengthens its market position in Sweden and its presence within festivals in the Nordic region with the acquisition of Big Slap Festival in Malmö.

All Things Live was established in December 2018 following Waterland Private Equity’s acquisition of leading Nordic live entertainment companies in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. 

Big Slap Festival was established in 2013 and has become one of Sweden’s largest electronic dance music festivals with a daily capacity of around 15,000 attendees and a two-day programme scheduled for August 2020.

With the acquisition of Big Slap Festival in Sweden, All Things Live will have more than 100 employees and cover the full spectrum from Norwegian acts and comedy productions over Swedish musical productions, Danish stand-up events as well as Finnish and Swedish electronic music festivals to arena concerts with international artists such as Celine Dion, Green Day and Eminem.
