MAQS acts as legal advisor as ÄKTAB transitions to new ownership

Älmestads Kvarn & Transport AB is a modern transport company offering transport and logistics services across Sweden — from Ystad in the south to Kiruna in the north. The company reported a turnover of SEK 350 million in 2023 and has recently undergone a change of ownership.

The change of ownership means that seven new partners will take over the business, one of whom is Magnus Nilsson, who has been the CEO of the company since May 2024.
                                                                               
Ronny Bengtsson, the founder of Älmestads Kvarn & Transport Aktiebolag (ÄKTAB), along with the company's chairman of the board, Krister Lundgren, is handing over the business to the company's management through the sale.
