MAQS advised Bertegruppen in the acquisition of Hafi

Bertegruppen has acquired Hafi, Hallands Fruktindustri AB, from Hallandsmusteriet AB. The acquisition represents a significant step in Bertegruppen's strategy to expand within the food industry and offer high-quality solutions and products.

Founded in 1569, Bertegruppen is today Sweden's oldest family-owned company. The corporate group consists of SIA Glass, Berte Qvarn, Berte Gård, BERTEBOS Foundation, and Berte Museum.

Hafi was established in 1938 and initially operated as a juice producer with suppliers and consumers in the local area. Today, Hafi is a modern food industry with small and large customers worldwide. SIA Glass and Hafi work closely together, with Hafi's jam being a key ingredient in the ice cream.
