MAQS advises EnBW Sweden on joint venture with Scandinavian Horizon for sustainable hydrogen solutions
Energy company EnBW Sweden and Scandinavian Horizon, a specialist in large-scale hydrogen projects, have entered a joint venture to drive the development of hydrogen-based energy solutions. The goal is to strengthen Sweden's energy system and reduce the country's dependence on fossil fuels.
EnBW Sweden is a wholly owned subsidiary of EnBW AG, one of Europe's largest energy companies, with 27,000 employees and operations in eight countries.
Scandinavian Horizon AB is a renewable energy company specializing in the development, construction, and operation of green hydrogen production facilities.
MAQS advised EnBW Sweden in connection with the joint venture. MAQS’ team was led by Mikael Kowal, head of MAQS' Renewables specialist group, assisted by Ida Hillestad and Jannie Strømberg.
