MAQS advises Tången on its Nasdaq Stockholm listing

Today, 12 June, trading in Tången's shares commenced on Nasdaq Stockholm - a strategic move for the company, which sees the listing as an opportunity for further expansion.

Tången is an acquisition-driven industrial group that acquires and develops small and medium-sized companies with strong market positions within selected industrial niches. The company operates in three business areas - regulatory expertise, service solutions and industrial technology - and focuses primarily on the Nordic markets.

The subscription price was set at SEK 67 per Series B share, corresponding to a valuation of approximately SEK 3.8 billion when trading commenced. Interest from Swedish and international institutional investors, as well as the public in Sweden and Finland, was very high ahead of the listing, and the offer was oversubscribed several times. Anchor investors were the Andra AP-fonden, Handelsbanken Fonder, funds managed by Protean Funds Scandinavia and Svolder.

MAQS Advokatbyrå acted as legal advisor to Tången in connection with the listing on Nasdaq Stockholm. Nordea acted as Sole Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner, and DNB Carnegie acted as Joint Bookrunner.

"We are very pleased with the strong interest shown in Tången by Swedish and international institutional investors as well as the public in Sweden and Finland. The listing on Nasdaq Stockholm marks an important milestone in Tången’s development and provides us with a strong platform to continue building a long-term industrial group together with leading niche companies and their management teams. I would like to welcome all new shareholders to Tången and thank our employees, portfolio companies and advisors for their important contributions throughout this process," says Per Skånberg, Chairman of the Board at Tången.

"We have had the privilege of being with Tången from the very beginning, through their growth to today's IPO. It is a fantastic company, and we look forward to following their journey forward," says Anton Olsson, partner at MAQS.

MAQS’ team consisted primarily of Anton Olsson, Matilda Karlsson, Eric Ehrencrona, Rebecka Malm, Josefine Bågholt, Marcus Resvik, William Stenström, Anna Björk Larson and Arvid Rosenlöf.
