MAQS Advokatbyrå in Malmö and Fredersen Advokatbyrå join forces

MAQS Advokatbyrå KB, with its office in Malmö, welcomes Fredersen Advokatbyrå and its approximately 20 employees to MAQS. Through the merger, Fredersen brings specialist expertise in areas including capital markets, banking & finance, and IP, complementing MAQS’ existing strengths across a broad range of practice areas.

Fredersen was founded in Malmö in 2006 and has since established itself as a leading commercial law firm. The merger represents a strategic step for MAQS in Malmö as the firm continues to strengthen its position as one of Sweden's leading full-service law firms in the premium legal services market, adding further business-focused specialist expertise and enhancing its client offering.

The merger will take effect on 1 January 2027.
