MAQS has advised in the sale of PoG to Beijer

MAQS Advokatbyrå has assisted the sellers in Beijer Byggmaterial AB’s acquisition of PoG Woody Bygghandel AB.

PoG, formerly part of the Woody Bygghandel network, is a strong regional company with six stores and a distribution center in the southern part of Sweden. Beijer Byggmaterial is part of the Stark Group, which is the largest distributor of building materials in the Nordic countries with subsidiaries in Denmark, Greenland, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

MAQS’ team in the transaction was headed by Hans Svedberg (lead partner) with the assistance of Jonas Blomquist (head of M&A) and Angelica Friberg (M&A).
