MAQS legal advisor in the divestment of Confidentor to Säkra

MAQS has advised the pension and investment adviser Confidentor when the company was acquired by the insurance broker Säkra. The acquisition is part of Säkra's expansion within the wealth segment.

Confidentor was founded in 1987 and specializes in investment advice, pension, and life insurance. The company has its main operations in Gothenburg but is also represented with offices in Halmstad and Malmö.

Säkra is one of Sweden's largest insurance brokers with a focus on life insurance, non-life insurance and financial advice. Säkra has 450 employees and 60 offices across Sweden.

Säkra's acquisition of Confidentor is part of the company's continued expansion within the wealth segment.
