MAQS legal advisor when Lindex invests in femtech

MAQS is legal advisor when Lindex enters the #femtech industry and launches the Female Engineering brand, which offers sustainability, innovative products developed to meet women’s needs through all stages of life.

− It is an incredibly exciting investment that Lindex is making in technology and sustainability where the woman and her needs are the focus. We are extremely happy to be a part of this journey and contribute with our legal expertise, says Maria Jennerholm, lawyer at MAQS Advokatbyrå.

A part of Lindex’s FemTech investment is the acquisition of a majority stake in the start-up company Spacerpad AB, which aims to combat menstrual poverty and promote sustainable consumption. The Company has developed a reusable menstrual protection with an entirely new patent-pending innovative technology.

− There is vast potential within FemTech. The investments have increased exponentially in recent years and the industry will continue to grow. It has been great fun and inspiring to assist in this transaction. Lindex is a company that is at the forefront and that combines deep knowledge in lingerie and clothing with new research and sustainability, says Sara Malmström, partner and M&A lawyer at MAQS Advokatbyrå.
