MAQS legal advisor when Paebbl raises SEK 260 million

MAQS has advised Paebbl in connection with its financing round in the amount of SEK 260 million, led by the German venture capital firm Capnamic.

Swedish company Paebbl uses patented technology to capture carbon dioxide from industry and bind it in cement and concrete. The company was founded in 2021 by angel investor Jane Walerud, serial entrepreneur Andreas Saari, researcher Pol Knops, and Marta Sjögren, formerly with the venture capital firm Northzone.

The German venture capital firm Capnamic led the financing round, together with Amazon's green fund "The Climate Pledge Fund," the Swiss construction and building materials giant Holcim, and European family offices. Several of the company’s existing investors, such as 2050, Pale Blue Dot, and the Grantham Foundation, also participated in the funding round.

MAQS Advokatbyrå assisted Paebbl in the capital raise. MAQS team consisted of Anders Lindström and Amanda Strömbäck.
