The business law firm MAQS is relocating to new, modern premises at Stureplan 8 in central Stockholm. This move is part of the firm's expansion strategy and its ambition to create an even more attractive workplace.
"We have experienced very strong growth in recent years and are pleased to have found a new office that meets our requirements for an attractive location and modern work environments that promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and community," says Katrin Troedsson, CEO of MAQS.
MAQS's new office, leased from Afa Fastigheter, spans two floors totaling approximately 1,500 square meters. The premises are currently vacant as Afa Fastigheter is undertaking extensive renovations to create modern, flexible, and efficient office environments. The building is planned to be certified according to Miljöbyggnad iDrift 2.0, with the goal of achieving silver level. MAQS will be the first office tenant in the newly renovated property and looks forward to moving in by September 2026.
"Our offices and work environment are important to us – this is where we meet and build our shared culture. It feels very exciting to be able to offer our employees in Stockholm a completely renovated office after next summer," says Katrin Troedsson.
MAQS is one of Sweden's leading business law firms, with 180 employees at offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Sundsvall. In Stockholm, nearly 50 employees currently work at Stureplan 19. Over the past year, the firm has made several strategic recruitments in the areas of transactions, dispute resolution, construction law, and labor law, further strengthening the firm's offerings and leading to expanded international contacts.
"We continue to expand with handpicked individuals who share our vision and values, and who see the value in our approach. We already have additional recruitments underway. Our new office provides us with excellent conditions for continued growth, and our ambition is for it to become a natural meeting place for both our Swedish and international clients and partners," says Katrin Troedsson.
