Nayak Aircraft Services acquires Hovby Aero AB/Nordic MRO

MAQS acted as legal advisor to Nayak Aircraft Services, a leading maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) service provider, on its acquisition of Hovby Aero AB/Nordic MRO. 

The acquisition enhances Nayak Aircraft Services' presence in the MRO market and expands its reach across Northern Europe.

Effective since January 15, the new organization operates under the name Nayak-LM Nordic AB and is headed by Kjell Andersson and Stephane Klaver.

Nayak, founded in 1974, is Europe’s largest airline-independent MRO service provider, offering its services at 55 stations in 16 different countries across the continent for over 70 different aircraft types.

MAQS acted legal advisor to Nayak in the transaction. The MAQS team consisted of Mikael Kowal, Josefine Bågholt, Malin Hurtig, Isabella Pöhner Hörnestig, Jannie Strømberg, Emil Kunéll and Klara Dahlqvist.
