MAQS represents Rabbalshede Kraft in connection with investment in three new wind farms


Rabbalshede Kraft AB (publ) has, by raising capital, secured its equity and signed agreements with Swedbank and SEB regarding project financing to finance the construction of 33 wind turbines in three different wind farms.

Manor Investment S.A., a Luxembourg-based industrial company within the renewable energy sector, has invested in Rabbalshede Kraft through a private placement of new shares. Manor was advised by Treis Partners ( Both the implemented private placement and the rights issue which is currently taking place are intended primarily to finance equity for the construction of the Årjäng NV, Årjäng SV and Skaveröd/Gurseröd wind parks totalling 33 turbines and an effect of 101 MW.

The estimated production of the three wind farms amounts to 289 GWh per year and will increase Rabbalshede Kraft’s production capacity by more than 100%. The project represents the largest investment to date in Rabbalshede Kraft’s history and amounts in total to approximately SEK 1.2 billion

In connection with the engagement, MAQS also assisted in, among other things, the above-mentioned new issues of shares, agreements with Vestas regarding the purchase and servicing of the 33 wind turbines, as well as loan documentation regarding the project financing. MAQS’ team was headed by Advokat Mikael Kowal with respect to the new issues and agreements with Vestas, and also included associates Wibeke Sorling and Cecilia Rossing and, as regards the project financing, was headed by Advokat Sten Fejrot, assisted by associates Erik Osmark and Magnus Steninger.
