Tången acquires D.E.C. Marine

Tången is investing in the growing market for marine exhaust gas purification systems and has acquired D.E.C. Marine AB, a company that provides complete SCR systems (Selective Catalytic Reduction) designed to reduce harmful exhaust emissions from heavy diesel engines.

Through this acquisition, Tången is making a strategic investment in a globally expanding market segment, where stringent environmental regulations are driving demand for advanced SCR solutions. D.E.C. Marine's technology plays a crucial role in reducing emissions from maritime operations and supports the industry's transition towards more sustainable solutions.

D.E.C. Marine has an annual turnover of SEK 60 million and is headquartered in Gothenburg, where it has operated since the early 1990s. Its offering include systems, components, software, as well as service and aftermarket support.

Tången is a Nordic industrial group that owns and develops thriving companies with a long-term perspective.
