Tången acquires Swemco

MAQS has advised the investment company Tången in their acquisition of Swemco AB, a company that develops and manufactures machines for paving and asphalt work.

Swemco has a strong position in Sweden and is growing in the rest of the Nordic region. The company has a turnover of approximately 60 million SEK and offers products such as pothole patchers, gravel spreaders, and adhesive moped machines, along with an established service and aftermarket business.

Tången foresees that planned infrastructure investments in the coming years create favourable conditions for continued development within the company's market segment. Through the acquisition, Swemco becomes part of the business area Tången Industriteknik, which opens new opportunities to enhance customer benefits and develop the product portfolio within construction and road maintenance equipment.
