Fro left: Naalamiley Gångare Grede, Emelie Constant och Elin Schedin
MAQS strengthens its construction and infrastructure team with three new specialists: Elin Schedin, Naalamiley Gångare Grede, and Emelie Constant.
Elin Schedin joins as a partner and Emelie Constant as an associate. Both come most recently from AG Advokat. Elin specializes in construction law and property development, with a particular focus on the construction industry's standard contracts. She assists clients in contract negotiations and provides ongoing advice in larger construction and infrastructure projects. She also has experience in corporate and real estate transactions as well as property law. Elin previously worked as a corporate lawyer at JM for six years and is ranked in Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner for 2022, 2023, and 2024.
"In addition to MAQS' strong position in the construction field, I was attracted by the entrepreneurial spirit that permeates the firm. I look forward to contributing to the development of the firm's business, both nationally and in the Stockholm market. With my expertise in corporate and real estate transactions, property law, and advice on larger property projects, I also look forward to strengthening MAQS' offering in Real Estate and M&A," says Elin Schedin, lawyer and partner at MAQS.
Earlier this fall, Naalamiley Gångare Grede joined MAQS as Legal Director. She comes most recently from a position as corporate lawyer at Swedavia and has previously worked as a lawyer and judge. Naalamiley specializes in construction and consultancy law with an emphasis on ongoing advice and dispute resolution and has experience in handling construction disputes in general courts and arbitration.
"We are very pleased to welcome our new colleagues. With Elin, Naalamiley, and Emelie on board, we are further strengthening our construction and infrastructure team as well as our expertise in the areas of Real Estate and M&A, while also increasing our physical presence in the Stockholm market," says Katrin Troedsson, CEO of MAQS.
