Karin Schurmann is Co-head of MAQS' specialist area Privacy & Data Protection. She is specialised within data protection and has extensive experience of providing cross-industry strategic advice in the area along with several assignments as an external data protection officer. Through her expertise knowledge, Karin’s focus is on the e-commerce sector and she works with issues concerning e.g. digitalisation, cookies, purchase flows and marketing campaigns. Karin regularly holds lectures and courses and leads legal networks within her specialist areas.
Karin also has experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements as well as conducting analyses and investigations in contract, company and insurance law.
