MAQS recruits employment law specialist from H&M Group

Sofia Pedersen joins MAQS Advokatbyrå as partner with the mission to continue developing MAQS' offering and employment law group, as well as strengthening the firm's position in the Stockholm market.

Sofia Pedersen most recently held the position of Group Labour Law & Labour Relation Counsel at H&M Group, where she has worked with Swedish and international labour law, providing strategic and operational support to H&M Group's management and other internal stakeholders in connection to global transformations, major internal investigations, individual cases, and complex regulatory compliance matters, as well as interpretation and implementation of new legislation.

Previously, she has also worked on all aspects of labour law, labour relations, pensions, and compensation issues as a Senior Chief Legal Adviser at Danske Bank and as a lawyer at the law firm Mannheimer Swartling.
