MAQS advised Locus Energy in four wind power transactions

During the autumn, Locus Energy has acquired several wind power plants, including those at Rödstahöjden near Sollefteå from the municipality of Eskilstuna.

Through these acquisitions, Locus Energy is active in a total of 18 Swedish municipalities, where further direct investments will contribute to increasing local production of renewable and resilient energy. The acquisitions have been made by Locus Energy’s subsidiary Locus RePower.

Locus Energy is a long-term active owner and developer of small-scale sustainable infrastructure for energy production in the Nordic region. Locus Energy is jointly owned between Locus Infra and SEB Investment Management (SEB IM).

MAQS Advokatbyrå has assisted Locus Energy in the acquisitions of wind power plants from four separate sellers. MAQS’ team has been led by Mikael Kowal, responsible for MAQS’ specialist group Renewables, and also consisted of Jessica Svantesson, Ida Hillestad, Jannie Strømberg and Cecilia Rossing.
